Also, there's a great french-style bakery on the way out and the fruit pastry's are to die for!!! This one's called the mammoth, for obvious reasons. It's good. We bought a couple small ones for the road trip home and this one for desert after our Korean feast dinner (so yummy!) and LOVED it. It's about time we got on the web and attempted to stay in touch with all the people we're too busy to call.

The BEST Place for produce!!
Yesterday we went on a family trip down to our old neighborhood because a new store has opened down there. It's a huge Asian supermarket and it's A-MAY-ZING!! The produce section takes up half the store and the selection is incredible and the prices can't be beat. It's worth it to drive a little bit to save so much on groceries about once a month or so. We left with a heaping cart of fruits and vegetables, fresh meat and spices and the total was $69. The equivalent at walmart would easily be close to $150 (score!!) Here's the store's website. It's pretty cool that every thing's in Korean. I love opening up my pantry and seeing Korean on my spices and potions.

Here's a picture of our wonderful dinner. It was made with seasoned bulgogi beef (delish), rice noodles, tons of veggies and this great roasted pepper paste we found. It turned out so good and healthy!! To top it off the kids loved it too!

Wow, you are quite the GOURMET! I wish Ihad time to go specialty shopping for produce. I splurge sometimes by taking a trip to WHOLE FOODS or SPROUTS. That is definitely a luxury for me to have the time to do that. I still want to try Central Market- maybe now that school is starting back up and I am not a Full Time Entertainer.
Awesome! Love saving money on groceries for sure...
YUMMY!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the sweet gift! You do not know how much that meant to me on that very day! You must have been prompted! That was one of the nicest things ever done for me:)
