Fall Break

Last week was fall break. The kids had a week off of school and it started out a little rough but turned out to be so much fun. We had a great time as a family and Jason worked shorter days on Monday and Tuesday and came home around 1pm on Wednesday and didn't go back until this morning and the boys love having daddy around. Since we didn't have to worry about school the next morning, we had some great family nights. Jason did a little science experiment with the boys to teach them about oxygen.
He lit a tea candle.
Then he put a three liter bottle over it and showed how quickly the fire went out. Then he put a large mason jar over it and it took longer go out.

Then they talked about why that happened and how the air moved quicker in the smaller space causing it to go out faster. The boys were mesmerized and told their papa all about their experiment with fire.

Noah is funny. Ninja turtles don't wear pants!!! HaHa!!! My kids don't wear pants either, I don't know if you've picked up on that when you see the pics on my blog. I got your site to work on my laptop, so maybe it is my freakout computer, crashing on me all day today and making me late. There's my vent for the day!!
