Our Christmas

We woke up to a beautiful white Christmas.
The boys on Christmas morning waiting to open their gifts.
After they opened every thing, they walked around deciding what to play with first.
They decided on setting up Noah's car track. (You can see the finished snow men in the background. Didn't they turn out so cute?)

For the second year in a row, the family met at a church building in a middle location. It's great! No one has to host, we all bring dishes and it's an easy clean-up.
After playing with their new toys and taking a much-needed nap (for me mostly) it was off to see the family. The boys had fun playing in the snow while we waiting for everyone to show up.
While the grown-ups finished up the food, the kids decorated cookies and made ornaments.

Ryan telling a story to Uncle Mark (above) and Papa.
The cousins had a great time just running and playing with some balls that Aunt Lisa brought.

We had a fun Christmas and loved having Jason home with us from Thursday until Monday. He's so busy lately that it was great to have some time to just chill as a family for the weekend.
On another note, last Tuesday I was put on bed rest so we're trying to figure out life and a different routine. It's going to be interesting.
