This is my favorite season!! I love the leaves changing colors and the cool breeze and the the focus on being thankful. Ryan's home from school for the week and we're enjoying all being together during the day again.
On Friday it was Grandparent's day followed by a cute Thanksgiving play. I'm so glad that Jason's parents live close enough to be able to come to activities at the school.

Ryan was the narrator and did a great job!

As they told the story, a turkey showed up on the board.

Ryan with his sweet teacher. She has her hands full (13 boys and 6 girls...oh my) but is a wonderful match for Ryan and he's thriving.
This weekend was a tough one. I have been very sick and only started keeping things down this morning. Ryan decided on Sunday night that since I haven't been able to get up and decorate, he and Noah were going to do it for me. They are the sweetest boys!!

They made leaves and decorated the fireplace.

They decorated the island with fun pumpkins from the craft drawer.

They drew Thanksgiving pictures and decorated the front door.

And they put foam pumpkins up in the entertainment center. Yesterday, Ryan and Noah surprised me with a tour of the house. They had cleaned their bedroom and the toy room and put up these decorations. What a great surprise!! They're so excited that my mom's coming in 2 days and can't wait to show her all their work.
Everyone knows that a break from school means one major thing....a fort in the living room of course.
